how does it affect you

Sure do, along with way too many intolerances and allergies !!! Oh well, you get that.

If I eat too much yeast or molasses I get fungus infections on my nails !! I have to really treat food as fuel, cos the minute I slack off and get tempted my body gets really angry.

One thing that perks me up and tends to clear the affects of sugar ingestion, usually excessive I might add (why be half hearted bout it !!), is 2 tablespoone organic apple cider vinegar mixed with 250 ml cold water and sipped through a straw. This realkalises your digestive tract and gut and negates the acidic environment that sugar causes. I know it sounds like vinegar should make it worse but its honestly a miracle remedy. Plug apple cider vinegar into your search engine and read the data that comes up !! Apple Cider Vinegar will even clear trouble spots on your skin !! Just mix 2 capfuls with 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix to a paste. Apply all over your face and neck with cotton balls, concentrating on problem areas and then wash off with a sponge and warm water. WOW !! Just use a small amount of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, yep the one you cook with, as a moisturiser. Real cheap, natural and environmentally friendly. Best of all neither one of us could possibly be sensitive or allergic to it!!!

PEACE

I have a hormone problem that affects insulin output. Normally if I eat too much sugar on an empty stomach (even a piece of fruit) I can get huge headaches that get to the point of migraines, the shakes, sensitivity to light etc. I don't eat anything that has a lot of sugar unless I eat a fairly healty protein based meal. I guess the good thing is that i hate lollies, chocolates etc but I do miss a nice piece of fruit for a snack with out having to have a meal.

If I chew sweets or chocolate my teeth really hurt in places, like they are being drilled, don't know why. Only a very small thing but there you go.
