for like about a week already I noticed I have rosey cheeks and I normally have a pale complexion. It's not from the cold cuz it happens even indoors. I am also not embarrassed for 7 days straight and have not stood on my head recently. My cheeks are warm when I touch them and I dont feel like I have a fever. WebMD doesnt list my symptoms on the site. What in the world is this????

Okay I posted earlier but have one more question. Just because my throat glands are sore and I have a high count of white blood cells, does this mean I have blood cancer? Wouldn't the Doctor be alarmed and send me to the ER etc? I always thought that your white blood cell count goes up when you are sick etc. I had mono when I was 15 and I am now 25 and I feel the same things: fatigue, I eat poor at times and sleep 5 hours a night..As well as my throat is swollen but not like strep throat. I am reading that people fear luekemia just because of there cell count?

okay so yesterday
at school
i had 5 (2 pills each dose) doses of dayquil
should i have died or something?
all that happened was i got really dizzy and light headed until the end of school (which was like 5 hours)

I went in for my yearly physical, and my bloodwork came back okay, except for my cholesterol... it's 220. I have a history of open heart surgery (mechanical mitral valve), and I am currently on medication to control my blood pressure (it's under control with the meds). My mom, sister, and late dad all have high cholesterol. I have an appointment with my doctor to discuss what steps to take next. I eat fairly right (very few red meats, etc.), and I go walking five days a week. Has anyone out there gone through this? I'm nervous about my doctor appointment this week. What information do I need to tell him? What are your experiences? Thank you in advance for any help/advice you can share.

ok, so i have a bunch of symptoms for bulimia and also anorexia, so im guessing all of the vomiting is the root of the problem. no one knows about my "eating disorder" except for me, but my best friend is really suspicious. last night i asked how to stop my bad habits and such, and i had an epiphany and vowed to change my life. hahaha. i must have done that 20 times since all of this started. but tonight it got kind of serious. really serious i guess. after i threw up tonight, i tasted a lot of blood and i coughed up a good bit of it. im really scared and i want to know what this is from and why and ahhh. i guess i need to talk to someone, but im really scared to tell my mom. she'll make me stop dancing because she thinks that it has a negative impact. i know what im doing is bad. ok. so, why am i coughing up blood? is it bad enough to have to talk to someone? how do i go about getting help...

I was debating going to the emergency room and then had to go get a primatine mist inhaler to substitute for now. Which i was told by my doctor not even to use. The guy just said "I'm not doing it. I have type one Diabetes and I eat my Halloween candy for activities and when I'm low. The problem is, I need to know the CARBOHYDRATES of these candies and chocolate bars so I know how much I can have. Any great sites or other info would be awesome. Here's a list of what I'm talking about:

-mini O Henrys
-mini caramilks
-mini coffee crisps
-mini mars bars
-and those maynards candy things like fuzzy peaches and stuff

its a dark redish color and rough to the touch (feels like a thick layer of dead skin sorta). it looks really bad on my left hand near the last two fingers and the rest of my knuckles have the same thing but it doesnt look as bad, ive tried using some lotion but it doesnt help moisturize it at all..........i was just wandering if anyone knows what this is.

p.s my gf had sorta the same thing on her knuckles as well but it wasnt really red just ashy lookin and lotion didnt help her hands either
