I have type one Diabetes and I eat my Halloween candy for activities and when I'm low. The problem is, I need to know the CARBOHYDRATES of these candies and chocolate bars so I know how much I can have. Any great sites or other info would be awesome. Here's a list of what I'm talking about:
-mini kit kats
-mini O Henrys
-mini caramilks
-mini coffee crisps
-mini mars bars
-and those maynards candy things like fuzzy peaches and stuff
...and some other stuff.
Thanks so much!

Okay...some of you obviously didn't pay attention to my question. I did not say that I love to pig out on candy and enjoy getting my blood sugar down to low extremes... What I must not have explained properly was that IF my bloodsugar happens to be low, I will eat candy to get it back up. I NEED to take sugar when I am doing things such as playing soccer or else my bloodsugar will drop and you all know thats not good.

Most of the mini chocolate bars have about 10-12g of carbs in them.

I'm not as knowledgeable about the candy stuff; if I'm eating candy I'm going for the chocolate. : )

Yeah, I agree with Anita. The chocolate is so much better! But I also think there's about 10-12 carbs in each. I know this might be sort of a pain, but try to compare the size of a large chocolate bar, to the small one (make sure they're the same kind). Look at the carbs on the big one and try to like, ration it out. :)

The carbs should be labeled on the packages...just keep an eye on the serving sizes.

Really I don't know if you should be eating a bunch of candy...the concentrated sugar is not good for someone with diabetes...you should talk to your doctor. Just because you say you eat it for activities...doesn't mean YOUR body is any better prepared to metabolize it.

Yeah I just relized this is a problem. On the package, "not for individual sale", which is for that reason, you dont know the facts. But technectly this isnt selling them, so you dont know. Go on each of the manufactorers websites individualy, and find it there.

Good Luck.

For the cupcakes upload issues like gummy worms spiders and so on. for the popcorn my buddy did very plenty with. Get a set of disposable gloves (no longer the latex powder form) they are clean cheapo form. positioned a candy corn in each and each finger(for the finger nail) then fill the glove with popcorn and tie it off with orange and black ribbon. So amazing!!! fill a bowl with a set of them, its like popcorn in a baggie (she used microwave popcorn for ease) and looks like palms popping out of a bowl. candy and carmel apples are marvelous!

you get nil nutrition from candy, it is not a good source for activity balance. And you should have better control over your insulin than to drop too low. I suspect you know this already, so am sure I am wasting my breath, but throw the candy out or give it away.
