I have a vacation in September and I am planning on doing part of the driving on an 8 hour trip,my problem is the hypnotic effect it has on me and falling asleep,what is the best way to deal with this problem?

I'm 13 and I've had several pimples everywhere since I was about 11. I don't have acne just alot of zits. Do you know when it will naturally go away. (I am treating it though through a dermatologist). Please say before highschool! I've had it all middle school starting my last year into it!

I have really oily skin and if I didnt wash my face atlleast twice a day boy I'd be in trouble. When I go out I put cover up on because I have always have several several Zits but nothing horrbile like those nasty acne scars and those icks EWW. anyway ....Like I said when I go out my face it will start to get really oily. I can just go to a public bathroom and wash my face and then I wouild have to apply my make up again. I don't know what to do. I can't just wipe it off with my hands because that will cause more zits. I don't know what to do. It's embarrasing. Im currently on antibotics for my zits but when my zits are all gone will my skin still be horribly oily? HELP ME OUT!

for the past few months i have had severe bone pain, specifically in my arms and legs. more recently, i have developed pain in my joints (elbows and knees). the pain is sometimes so severe that i cannot walk. i have also had multiple episodes of bloody stool. i have also been very tired and moody. my mother is anemic, but i have tested negative for iron deficiency. i also have an irregular menstrual cycle. i am 15 and a 1/2.

My boyfriend was seen in the emergency room yesterday for what he thought to be just a bad rash that was spreading. It turns out that he actually has Poison Ivy (from a bike ride he took two weeks ago). They gave him an injection and perscribed some meds, but I am concerned about my small dog who slept with us the night before. Can humans transmit this to animals? I have already washed my bed sheets and towels, and given my dog a bath. Is there anything else I should do?

I am really sad right now because for the past 2 years, I have had hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and recently I started to have a problem with body odor. It will never go away no matter what I do and I have tried everything! I am starting to lose hope that I will ever be back to normal and it is ruining my entire life! I always feel like a freak and I can't ever let myself get close to anyone! I always like to be like 30 feet away from people. I tried countless regular deodorants, then I tried Certain Dri, then Maxim, and I've also tried pills, then for my b.o. problem I tried Clindamycin, which is an antibiotic. Now I am trying Body Mint (which is Chlorophyll), and after 4 days now there is barely an improvement. The only things I haven't done are drastic measures, like surgery. I am just starting to lose all hope and I can never leave the house and I am going on a few trips later this summer but I may not go b/c of this. It is taking a big toll on my life....

I have been having alot of health problems lately, getting horrific periods twice a month with fevers and throwing up. I went to see my Dr. and she ordered an ultra sound to see if i have tumors or polyps or soemthing on my ovaries. She also got me tested for many different things ranging from pancreas to liver to HIV.


I tried to donate blood two years ago and the Red Cross rejected my blood saying i had a flase positive for HIV. Could this have antyhing to do with me being sick?

and how long does it take for blood tests to come back?!

My friend has Genital warts. He went to the store and bought wart medicine ( the kind you put on your finer, or knee) and applied it to his penis. Apparently the warts fried and fell off. I don't think this was a good idea...what could happen? Infection?

You know those needles on tag punchers? I threw the puncher into the air and caught it but just kinda stabbed my hand with the needle. The lable on the side says that life threatening diseases can be transmitted by poking oneself with said needle. Ive worked retail for awhile and find it ridiculious a common item could do such damage, but I did poke myself fairly deep....should I have anything to worry about?

i dont want any chemical products or anything like that because they all seem to make my acne even WORSE and are bad for my skin. For the last two weeks or so, I've been having this numb feeling at the top of my right my arm. It used to be just if I raised it above my head (I first noticed this when I was in bed; I usually sleep with my arms up, wrapped around my pillow), but 2 days ago it started doing it when they were just normal. The arm feels numb, tingly, and kind of tight. Recently, my fingers started feeling kind of tingly, too. About the same time it started (I think it started before this, but I'm not certain), I had a blood test. Could that have anything to do with it? Oh, and I spend a lot of my time on my laptop. What do you think is wrong with me?

Also, I am going to the doctor, just not till Wednesday, because I've a lot going on tomorrow and Tuesday.
