2 injections a day. Since then I have gain over 50 pounds. I take this disease very serious, watch what and how much I eat. I keep my sugar well under control. I also have problems with my feet which keeps me from exercising. Now I've been told my heart is in trouble due to my weight. Seems like I can't win for losing. Any suggestions?

I have a friend who up to the age of 16 ate sugar (candy, cakes, soda, etc.) without any problem. Then all of a sudden develops some sort of sensitivity to it. Now he cannot eat it at all. If he just has a tiny taste or even just holds soda in his mouth (without swallowing), his heart rate speeds up, his head gets hot, he gets dizzy, and feels like fainting. Is this possible?? He's gotten checked by a doctor many times and they all claim that he is perfectly healthy..he doesn't have diabetes or anything like that. So what can explain his reaction to sugar? Could it be that it is just his mind exagerating the whole situation? I mean, he's eaten it for many years...why only now would he develop a reaction to it? His problem is actually getting worse..before it was only candy, cakes and soda that he couldn't eat..now he's even scared to eat bread because of the minimal amount of sugar it has in it. HELP PLEASE! Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

I recently got a 'HandJob' at a massage parlor. 2 Weeks after that I have a blister on my left thigh which dried up in 2-3 days. It is painless. Does this symptom mean any risk of any STD because of the handjob? No other itching is there and no other blister is there? Please help me by answering.

Im not no doctor, or genius about STD's but I found over a year ago that I have an STD, My ex boyfriend and I were having unprotected sex, and I know...how stupid...right...but at that time I trusted him, he was tested for HIV, but they should of tested him for everthing right! Anyways, Im on DEPO and at the time I trusted him and I know for a fact I caught it from him. Just a few weeks ago I had to get pap test...it was abnormal...I was worried.. but my question is...what are the chances of me having HPV..since I already have an STD and thats why I think my pap was abnormal, im just waiting for a phone call from the doc's, but if so, I know it's from my ex...I tell him right, if that's the case

I know some STDs can be spread by skin to skin contact, but I was under the impression that the exchange of fluids was necessary for the spread of other ones. Can anyone clarify for me?

Thanks!

i know i know... i've read about 10 q&a's on yahoo alone regarding this problem.. but being a cronic hypocondriac, i just can't help myself. :P

so here's the story.. i've went to a party a week ago. hard smoking and drinking, shots and 1+ pack o cigarettes. the next day i woke up with a very sore throat.. after buying some antiseptic pills, the soreness went away little by little. BUT, after 9 days.. i still have a dryness sensation near my palatine veil. i guess that paying constant atention to it and dry caughing all the time didn't help, nor the fact that i exercised in the cold 2 days and drank a cold beer a couple of days ago.

but i'm still worried. i've been a casual smoker for 3 to 4 years, i'm 17 now. i'm quite worried about cancer. googleing (no advertising sry) around + my imagination is a bad combination.

i'm not worried about the sensation of iritation and dryness when i breathe through the nose, but more of the duration of my condition. 9+days.
