Flu season happens when the tempt start to dip so for some areas thats already happening. It lasts until the temps are on their way up again.
It can start in October but not end until March even though the center for desease control gives you a shorter span.
We had a flu hit our area this summer it took 3 states.

I check on the CDC website and they indicate Flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. So make sure you get your shot before December it will help your chances of not getting a bad case of Flu.

I think its when the seasons change.
When its hot out, then it turns cold all of a sudden. thats a good way to catch a cold or the flu!
Or if you have a weak immune system, that will get ya sick too!

depends where you live. In N. America, it's like from Nov. till February, usually.
I now live in Thailand, and it runs almost all year round.
