sorry for what you are going through-people are idiots-to sum it up-they are not knowledgeable- try some on line groups-or talk to your med. doc for referral coping w/ hep c-it's not a death sentence-and it doesn't mean trash- I'm glad your not hush hush about it-maybe you can actually help educate- people like yourself will keep me busting my a-- @ school to make this world a little less stupid-good luck---and as you probalby know have his liver checked- no matter what goes on w/ these doc's and insurance- i do wish you the best!

Check with you local hospital or community hospital. They often have support groups. The reason I know is my husband had hep c and was cured.
Good luck to you and your husband, give him lots of support.
The American liver association might be able to help also.

Look in yahoo groups, there are several there.
I am sure they can direct you to a live session in your area if your not rural but the postings there are helpful. Also you can type in hepatitis c support groups into google and find some forums or type in hepatitis c forums.
