Stop drinking it and avoid eating plums or prunes.
Take benadryl up to 50 mg if you are an adult.

Take a Benedryl. If you have allergic symptoms that include swelling in the mouth or throat go IMMEDIATELY to your Dr or if they are not available, get to the ER.
Benedryl is an antihistamine that will help deal with the allergic reaction but as I mentioned above, anytime your breathing is or might be effected, even if you have taken the Benedryl, get to a Dr as soon as possible!!
Oh....and don't drink Dr Pepper or Dr. Pepper knockoffs.

Dr.Pepper contains an massive amount of sodium benzoate which alot of people are allergic too. Benzoate is used in everything including coffee to chocolates.
Since your having an reaction then stop drinking it. It's like raking penicillian it has the same effect , throat closing, tongue swelling etc. Stay off . It take benadryl.

Stop drinking it and go see Dr.Salt. He hates Dr.Pepper and knows how cure anything. If that doesn't work, go see Dr.Paprika, Dr.Cinnamon, or Dr.Nutmeg. : )
