About 3 months ago, 3 brown/tan spots (they're round and some are circular, while others are like ovals) appeared on the skin under my right armpit. 2 weeks ago, I checked again and now I have six. They are flat, round, and brown. they cant be sun spots because obviously being where they are, they have not been overly exposed to the sun. They arent birthmarks because they just recently appeared. They arent liver spots because I'm not that old. I'm not even 18! So what in the world are they??? help please.

I just discovered I have HPV. I wasn't promiscuous, I've only had three girlfriends. We've always got check ups before having sex, and tested healthy. I'm 28. We used condoms but they've slipped off into them a few times. One broke.

Now I'm screwed for life, yet there's people who have many partners who have no diseases. Lucky them.

With that said, it seems that the only way to avoid an STD if I could do it all over again, would be to live a sexless life and pretend sex doesn't exist.

The only other way is if you find a virgin, which is near impossible when your in your twenties, and find one who is the ONE for you, which is again pretty difficult to find. Which means you'd most likely be living without sex forever.

It seems like thats what I or anyone should do if they wish to avoid disease. What do you think?

If you agree, should doctors sever the natural desire in the brain to want sex? That way, no desire for sex, no catching grusome sex diseases.

Thoughts?

I have just found out that I have a deadly TOMATO allergy. I will see an allergist soon. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issues? I am educating myself, this explains alot of health issues I have had in the past. Just need that moral support as I am reacting to different foods..(hives) and such. And wonder if anyone is dealing with this?

I had acid reflux for about a year and a half, undiagnosed, because I had a bad doctor. Now I have a really bad case of GERD (it has given me asthma and some cavities). I heard that I don't have to worry about it becoming cancer because I will do what I can to take care of it now and, although it's so bad it hasn't been like this long enough for that (though it seems like it's so long). But this lump in my throat is always there and it is such a pain. Has anyone else had this and been cured? If so, what methods/medications worked? Protonix doesn't seem to be working and I do take it correctly (and twice a day). Perhaps I haven't been taking it long enough. Also, if it gets cured, do I have to eat bland foods forever?? Any anwers are appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

From my research only Ulysses S Grant has died from cancer. Statistically out of 43 presidents we should have had at least 13 presidents die from cancer.

I was diagnosed with carcinoid cancer of the liver in December of 2004 and I just recently had a needle biospy of my left breast done in August of this year and I have to meet with my cancer doctor on Sept. 6th for options on what else has to be done. I have been handling everything with a grain of salt since I have a younger sister that has had many different kinds of cancer since March of 1984 and we are each other's support system. I worry more about my husband because he lost his first wife to cervical cancer back in 1986 and this has been very trying for him. Any suggestions that can help us in coping with everything that has been going on lately would be greatly appreciated

I know the only way to prevent this was not to have sex.

I feel cheated because, 1)Many have sex with multiple partners & get no diseases. I've only had sex with three women, & we always got checked for diseases before we did anything & always tested completely healthy.

2)First time having sex, condom broke, so I could of gotten HPV from that first time even though I protected myself.

3)Found out I have both genital & anal warts, & I'm straight, never had anal sex, never do anything with that part of my body other than clean after shower/wipe after using bathroom.

4)Doctors have assumed I'm gay because I have anal warts, which makes visits humiliating.

5)I gave this to my wife unknowingly & feel guilty. Doctors say there's no way I could of known I had it without symtoms, which I didn't have till recently.

6)People say most have this, but I feel like I'm the rare few who unluckily has this.

I feel like a failure with a ruined life and sex life.

Thoughts?

Someday, who knows, we might conquer death, disease and war.

i believe that someday us humans will conquer all, only if we dont destroy ourselfs first.
