I have Lupus and I cannot stop from eating sushis and sashimis. I have not been feeling pain at all so I'm just wondering is it doing anything internally?

I have Lupus as well and have never heard anything about it. Although I must admit that I am not a big seafood eater. I have read lots of info and have never seen anything about it. If you don't get any concrete answers I would check with your specialist just to be safe. Two things that I have read that aren't good for Lupus are alfalfa sprouts and aspartame.

Lupus, also known as lupus erythematosus, is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder that occurs mostly in women.

Lupus produces widely varying symptoms, although joint pain is reported by most patients and skin lesions are common. Lupus can cause short periods of symptoms alternating with healthy periods, or can progress into a life-threatening disorder affecting the heart, kidneys, and other organs.

Seafood is not known to make lupus worse unless it is tainted in some way, but that would apply to any food that is tainted. Too much of any type of food can be bad for you in general. It is important ot have a healthy balanced diet with a disease that affects the immune system. Make sure you include fresh fruit and vegtables in your diet.

Where did you hear seafood was bad for people with lupus? I just did a quick online search, as you can do, for "lupus seafood" and the couple of articles i looked at, said Omega 3 oils (essential fatty acids) are good for people with lupus...and these oils are primarily found in seafood...

Do some research, see what you find...and talk to your healthcare provider...

If you are not in pain.. then it must be OK. I have had Lupus for 8 years and have never been told not to eat seafood. I live by the ocean and eat it all the time.

Digestive Wellness by Elizabeth Lipski has several good suggestions for lupus patients.
There is also a pretty good article in Prescription for Natural Cures by Balch & Stengler.
I have heard of some Lupus patients who felt better while they were taking monavie juice.
