Cancer is the result of mutations in the genetic information contained in a cell that allow that cell to grow at inappropriate times, and, in many cases, in inappropriate locations. While I can't say for sure that nutrition is not involved in the accumulation of mutations, I've yet to see a single piece of evidence that even begins to suggest it might be, and no of no logical reason why it should.

Some cancers are, most are not. For example; lungcancer is in 90% of the cases related to smoking, livercancer to alcolhol. However, breastcancer is not something that is caused by a lousy diet or stupid habits, its a genetic disorder, a malfunction in the dna. This is a fact.

Surely it could mean that, however I believe it is strongly related to one not keeping their immune system up to par. People eats lots of foods and consuming a lots of it. However they never eats the rights foods for cleansing and this causes build-up problems in their system thus causing health problems.I stronlgy agree with you 100% that cancer is related to poor nutrition.

I believe there are several reasons we get cancer. I think a good, nutritional diet can boost your immune system and help prevent illness. However, I also believe there are environmental issues that are beyond our control that sabotage our bodies.

Eating as well as you can, staying away from as many chemicals as possible and living a happy lifestyle are all beneficial to our immune systems.

One of the recent hallmarks of cancer is mineral deficiency. Whether this is a contributor or the result remains to be seen. You can find the scientific literature on PubMed. See below.

A lot of alternative (and viable) cancer cures operate on this premise...the research is out there. Most physicians get their limited information from the drug companies (who don't get paid if there is a non-patentable cure).
