I'm 26, and have A.D.D and have had it since I was a kid. My Mom never wanted me to go on prescriptioned medication, so I didn't... but now, I'm still the same. I'm definitely not hyper anymore, but I can't pay attention to anything for more than a few minutes! It's so annoying!

I am trying to increase significantly my motivation levels. I understand that dopamine is the main chemical that gives us please for day to day life. I get these ungodly migranes. Sometimes they last for days and sometimes for a few hours. I really do not like taking meds because I get nauseated. Can anyone help me?

Im just curious to know what other ppl feel in their body that tells them that the wheather is changing or gonna rain or u know something of that nature? For me i get a growing pain on my left leg when cold front is comming in, aswell as weak ankles!

You see these chinese herb stores with all these wierd bottles of herbs in it.

I really think Chinese are smart with there ancient secrets, but what do you think.

Do you think all that herb stuff really works instead of using American drugs?

okay the reason i am asking is becuase I live in the country...away from the stores by 45 miles, and I am REALLY constapated. The neaest hospiptal is 1&1/2 hours away. I cannot drive so what can I use as an enema bag&hose? like something around the house.

back iout it is pouring rain IT IS INJURED (a hole in the head) he slept in a tupperware thing and I gave him some oats and water. He is moving around but seems to have lost an eye. When and where an do I let him go. SERIOUS ONLY

I am considering taking Zelcap to lose wieght but I am unsure if my blood pressure medicine, Metoprolol Tartrate will jive with the Herbal supplement Zelcap. My Pharmacist cant answer that because they dont do studies about Meds. interacting with herbs. She recommended me not to take it, not knowing if it will cause me problems or not.

I don't need the word meaning, but to know what consists this job and the session? It's an alternative medicine? And what do they do to improve one's health?
I'm asking because someone suggested me to go see one to relief my back pain (after went to the doctor, he told me I was fine and it was nothing physical, maybe it was due to stress).

seriously i read a remedy in First magazine about this but can't remember how to do it exactly. but it had something to do with heating 2 cups of salt and putting it in a sock and laying your ear on it. any information on this?

Or does anyone else get annoyed with the responses in alternative medicine saying 'you need to go to the doc' and/or 'you need to get meds'. People are asking questions in alternative medicine for a reason... perhaps they've tried a doctor and aren't happy with the results or perhaps they don't have medical insurance or perhaps they're just open to alternative medicine because they want to be. I believe that all illnesses come from the mind and our thought patterns, and that it is possible to fix yourself mind, body and soul, without the use of doctors and prescribed meds. On saying that, if someone had serious and urgent symptoms, then of course I would recommend that they consult a doctor. I don't believe in organised religion, so I stay well clear of the religion questions (they're all fighting in there anyway!), so why do people who don't believe in alternative medicine insist on posting answers for the alternative medicine questions?

I just started using it because none of the presc. meds for migraine prevention have worked for me. I am chronic. I have them almost everyday or every other day! What alternate meds for pain besides Imitrex....no narcotics, they kill me!
