It does make some people paranoid....depending on how much they smoke, what sort of a mood they are in, how it is grown etc.
It's a natural and in moderation is enjoyable......
Try typing in Marijuana in google and you should find a lot of information on it.

I was in a friend's house one night and there were a few people smoking it. I don't because I don't like it. I was sitting chatting when all of a sudden I felt very weird and had to go home. I ran out of the house and towards my car and I would swear there was someone running behind me because I heard their footsteps loud and clear. There was no-one there of course. I had been passive smoking their pot and it definitely made me paranoid.
I think the reason why I don't like it is because I like to be in control and I don't like the sensations it gives me. That, together with the fact that they've no idea yet as to what the long-term effects are. Someone said recently that they think it prevents alzheimers yet studies have also suggested that it causes memory loss and psychosis. I'd rather not take the chance, but it's all down to personal choice of course.

I've been smoking pot for almost 40 years, and for me at least, I have gotten less paranoid as time goes on, gaining confidence that I'm not going to totally screw up and make an idiot of myself. I've found out that people probably can tell when I'm stoned, but don't really care as long as it's not at work, or something like that.

Personally, I think that it being illegal makes people that smoke pot paranoid. The red, glassy eyes are a give-away, and since it's illegal, people get paranoid that others will know they've been smoking and call them out on it.
By the way, my Abnormal Psychology professor told us that paranoid people usually have a reason to be paranoid.

Yes it does. It only does when you're high though. When you are high most people are simply paranoid that others can tell they are high and also paranoid that a cop will find them or something. So I've heard

yes it does different people to different degrees -- i never could smoke cause it make me really paranoid all 5 times i tried. it was easier with 2-3 close friends but for going out -- aaaaargh!

It sure does....It didn't make me as paranoid as a kid as it does now.......I just don't think pot is the same....yet I still cant seem to get away from the stuff!!! Ha-Ha! Just try to toke up and relax!

Yeah it does, at least for me.
I think it has to do with a person's frame of mind when smoking.
My paranoia (ppl are watching me) gets intensified 400%
Other ppl just get the munchies and giggle a lot.

I don't think pot itself can make you paranoid. If you are selling it and are worried about getting caught or worried people are going to steal it, you are always watching over your back and that can make you paranoid.
