Some olive oil heated up will loosen the wax. Put a teaspoonful in your ear and lie on your side for ten minutes. It should help loosen any wax plugs.

I don't know if this works, but it couldn't hurt to try:

Ingredients:
FOUR CUPS OF CORNMEAL,
TWO CUPS OF SALT,
TWO CLEAN SOCKS
Instructions:
HEAT THE CORNMEAL AND SALT IN A MEDIUM SIZED FRYING PAN UNTIL A DARK BROWN. IT WILL SMELL UP YOUR HOUSE SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO OPEN A WINDOW, IT SMELLS LIKE BURNT POPCORN. WHEN YOU ARE DONE, WAIT UNTIL THE MIXTURE IS WARM ONLY! NOT HOT. SPOON IT INTO ONE SOCK(NO HOLES,) TIE A KNOT AT THE TOP. NEXT SLIP THE OTHER SOCK OVER THE FIRST ONE. CHECK TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT TOO HOT AND PLACE ON THE AFFECTED EAR. THIS IS REALLY NEAT BECAUSE YOU CAN REHEAT THE SOCK IN THE MICROWAVE FOR A FEW SECONDS AND REUSE IT AS MANY TIMES AS YOU NEED TO.

No , that is rediculous. Try this. get a spoon and put a little warmed vegatable oil in it and drip some into your ear. Its an old family remedy for you ear. it really does work. just let it sit there for a minute then tilt your head for it to come out. It also stops ear aches. Granma calls it her miracle cure for all ear problems and boy she was right.

It's uncooked rice in a sock put in the microwave to heat, but it's for ear pain, not wax. Try warm water - like in the bath instead.

Instead of doing that you might want to try putting hydogen peroxide in each ear for ten minutes a piece.
