I am considering taking Zelcap to lose wieght but I am unsure if my blood pressure medicine, Metoprolol Tartrate will jive with the Herbal supplement Zelcap. My Pharmacist cant answer that because they dont do studies about Meds. interacting with herbs. She recommended me not to take it, not knowing if it will cause me problems or not.

No studies have been completed on this matter. It is known that St. John's Wort interacts with many drugs. You shouldn't take it because we don't know if any interactions occur.

There are warnings on the info about the medications, and they include medicines that you should not take while taking that medicine.
