I have had gout for over 20 years. It comes from an excess of uric acid. My body is a over producer and also doesnt get rid of it effeiciently. I have been on all the regular treatments...allopurinol...probenecid....etc..etc..but nothing seems to work. Honestly I would'nt wish this disease on my worst enemy. So, does anyone know of other treatments that may work. I have heard that dark cherries are good to eat for gout, but is there anything else out there? There is a new medicine, FEBUXOSTAT, but the FDA hasnt approved of it yet. Any other ideas?
