Some friends and I were talking about how to get rid of the burn, and one of them said his coach told him something in urine has medicinal effects. Anyone know if this is true?

I have a serious liver condition. A "friend" who sells goji through Freelife urged me to buy goji to cure my condition. Instead, I began to feel worse than ever. When I bought the juice, I was told there was a money back guarantee. Now, they are refusing to give me my money back. Goji is a serious scam!

Do you need a license? Where would you get the needles? How would they know you're acupuncturing yourself and nobody else? Would they even care? When an acupuncturist wants acupuncture, do they see another acupuncturist? Do they acupuncture themselves? Lots of questions I know. ... Thanks

I was on zoloft for 6 months and just recently came off of it. I have been really tired at the end of the day and can't seem to make it to the gym. This morning I woke up and my pants that i wore a couple of weeks ago, are not comfy. I need to lose some weight so that i'm not as tired so that i can get back into the gym. Any suggestions?

My son was diagnosed with moderate to severe acne (closer to severe than moderate, says the doctor), he was told he should be put on accutane. I've heard a lot of horror stories, so I looked into alternative medicine. I took him to a wellnes center, they took x-rays since his neck was tender. They found that C1,2 & 3 vertabrae are really out of line. I believe it is C3 that is pushing on his pituitary gland, they feel that this could be the cause of his acne. Has anyone every heard of anything like this? He is receiving physical therapy. I really hope it works for him, he's only 14 and he's been dealing w/severe acne for almost a year now and I'm so sad for him. He and my husband don't believe this is going to work and I'm constantly butting heads with their closed minds. I just want to find a safe and effective treatment for him. Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks! Evie

in the winter. I have stay in bed A LOT in the winter as it seems to be the only way to keep them warm. Anytime I go somewhere they get numb and the top of my foot to my toes gets cold. And I keep get this burning under my feet almost as if someone lit a match to me. I have had my heart checked and it was normal. I am not diabetic or pre-diabetic, I had an EEG and it was normal too. I am hypothyroid but on meds for it since I was a kid. So finally the Drs just decided it was poor circulation. Could it be due to my back I wonder? They say I have degenerative disc disease.
At any rate, I don't have much to loose sicne I have insurace to cover the cost, but I'd like to know if anyone else has some insight I don't.
Thanks for your help!

I struggle with mornings, as the sun is rising later and later now we are officially in Autumn so I thought something like this would be good:

I'll be coming home from work in the dark in a month or so, so I was thinking of also getting an actual light box to use in the evenings. Problem is the alarm clock ones go for £60 or so, and light boxes are at least £150-200!!! Any ideas where's best to go (other than somewhere in the southern hemisphere haha)

I want to be a (medical) nurse, so first and foremost, what is the difference between a regular nurse and a registered nurse? How many years does it take to become one? Starting salary? Easy hire? I'm only 19, and have a part-time job, is becoming a nurse expensive? Email me at RuthTeen@yahoo.com if you have more thorough answers...thanks

I was tested and found I had high range of acid in my body. I want to reduce that and was told teatra oil was helpful. So I want more information on it and anything else that would help my health in that area and in lowering my blood pressure. Thank you.

http://www.princetonreview.com/grad/research/programProfiles/salariescareers.asp?programid=98 "an N.D. who runs or partners in a large, busy practice makes an average estimated income of $80,000 to $90,000 per year--and may make upwards of $200,000."

doesnt sound much different than an MD.

also, the herbal products cost very little to produce (probably pennies) and the companies dont have to pay for research and regulation like traditional drug companies do.

anyway, my point is natural medicine is as big or bigger of a rip off than "big pharma" so for those of you who constantly whine about how "big pharma" is so much more expensive and not about treating things, well, there you have it....
