Believe it or not my Chiropractor totally CURED the only really bad allergies I've ever had.
I used to lose my voice, break out in rashes, throat & eyes would swell up, itch like heck... all the classic symptoms, whenever I would eat melons of any kind, avocado, tomato, pineapple, oranges, bananas, some nuts, & lots of other stuff. My Chiro did this technique, I think credited to Neurolink founder Allan Phillips, where he put the tiniest little speck of my blood on a bandaid, placed in some strategic place and through a series of tapping and/or acupressure (not sure) he actually got rid of the allergy. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't experience it myself! I still can't believe it every time I enjoy some watermelon or guacamole! The stuff used to just send me into hysterics. I'm munching on some almonds right now!
You might try calling a few Chiropractors and asking if they treat allergies. I was surprised to find out there are many who do.

Peppermint essential oil works well for allergies for most people. Simply place one or two drops twice a day on the back of the neck. Please email me if you have questions.
