NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Novelos Therapeutics, Inc. (OTCBB: NVLT - News), a biotechnology company focused on the development of therapeutics to treat cancer and hepatitis, today announced that the first patient has been enrolled in the pivotal Phase 3 trial in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) for its lead product NOV-002 in combination with first-line chemotherapy. Thomas Lynch, M.D. and Panos Fidias, M.D. from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) are the trial co-Chairs. Dr. Lynch is Director of MGH's Center for Thoracic Cancers and Dr. Fidias is Clinical Director for the Center.

This randomized, open-label, international Phase 3 trial is being conducted under a Special Protocol Assessment (SPA) and will study 840 patients with Stage IIIb/IV NSCLC.

i am FAT!
my ribs literally covered with FAT.
i try to do sit ups but its hard.

What kind of degree does a physician assistant have? Bachelor's or master's or even higher that equals an MD's degree? Can we trust a physician assistant in terms of diagnosis and treatment? My physician is always hurrying to next patients and never has time to listen to me which makes me really uncomfortable. But her PA will listen and spend enough time with me and this PA seems to be knowledgeable as well.

My friend had bad food habbits for over a year. She's a waitress and was eating all her meals at the restaurant. She's not fat, but her blood pressure shot way up. A week ago, she decided to give up restaurant food all together and go on a low fat diet. For the past week, she's been tired, nauseous, and feels lousy all over. No, she's not pregnant because she's not sexually active. Is the change in her diet causing her to feel ill? I thought eating better would make her feel better.

The past few years of my life have been hell.... I have had problems with my mum that caused me to run away for days on end, and eventually had to move away. Then I have been bullied alot of my life and threatened by people who just don't like me for who I am. Had my heart broken alot and suddenly lost feelings towards people in everyway possible. Had my baby brother die this year and caused alot of stress on me and my family... and its all getting alot worse!!
Doctor says I suffer from manic depression and it has finally lead to me having heart problems and is getting worse at a fast pace.
I am not sure what my options are but I am not going on anti-depressants as people who I know that have been on have ended up turning out worse when they come off them than that of which they were when they started. I have been looking into ECT (if you are unsure, watch House M.D se3ep11) and thats what i want done. should I consider this atall? having no memory of people?

Help?

apparently if my mum had a baby it would need a blood transfusion as she has rare blood which if it mixes with other blood would produce a 'blue baby'. But my dad also had this blood which was very rare for both parents to have it so me and my siblings where ok. But if we have any children then they will need blood transfusion. Is this true?

Im windering if this is normal, on the left and right side of my penis rim of the head I have small pen point dots. there just dots dont hurt dont have white or anything im just wondering if thats normal or if my penis is supose to just be clean with no dots on the rim. id say i have like 10 on each side. At 16 I weigh 222 lbs., way too much, I know. I don't get to go to the gym at all really and I live in a very hilly part of the country so nothing is flat for walking. I hate to exercise but know I need to so what type should I do and how much? I live to far away from town to take a yoga class or do something like that, I also don't have the time or money to do that. I have DDRMax that I can use to work out with but I don't know how long to use it. Are there exercises that I can do while sitting at my desk doing school (I'm homeschooled) that don't require me to get up for too long? How long should I work out and what techniques should I use? Besides losing fat I also want to gain muscle and become more limber, how can I do that? My life is busy but I want to find a routine to use, got any suggestions?

I can't accept myself and I can't lose weight. I know you are thinking that it is possible for anyone to do both of those things but i CAN'T.

I have never liked myself. I have tried every diet in the book. I have tried working out and eating healthy but the results were not quick or dramatic. I resulted to binging and purging for about year but my wonderful boyfriend helped me to get out of it.

I have put on weight since then (I am 5' 4'' and weigh about 145 lbs.) and i hate it. I want to love myself.

also, how do you feel about weight loss pills?

When I drink certain brands of coffee, I get horrendous hives all over my body just minutes later - but there are a few kinds that don't have any effect on me at all (example: starbucks never bothers me, but Dunkin Donuts will throw me into a full blown itching fit complete with massive welts on my arms and legs.) Since this sort of rules out it being the coffee itself, I'm wondering if it isn't something that they add or treat it with? I've never heard of such an allergy so any help would be appreciated.

I just got two [baby] teeth pulled. And I meant to ask the dentist, but I forgot too.. So I was just wondering how long it takes for the adult teeth to come in? is it a long time? I mean I've lost teeth before.. But I never really payed attention to how long it took for new teeth to come in.. And I Don;t know if it makes a difference or not that they were pulled.. Will that make it take longer? or does it not matter?

should i try to take a nap or wait til bedtime so as not to start an insomnia cycle where i wont' be able to sleep again tonight??
