I don't know why this is happening but my top teeth keep having little pieces of teeth push it's way out from the gum...and it really hurts? Is this normal?

Unfortunetly yes it is. Bone chips will likely continue coming throug your gums for around a month or more...

If the surgeon had to break the teeth to get them out, then yes....normal. You'll get tiny pieces of tooth for a week or so. Just do what the surgeon told you. If your pain medication isn't working, then call their office.

My husband had the same thing happen. Stay on top of your pain medication. It took about 2 weeks for all the pieces to work their way out of his mouth.

you know this might sound strange but I never got wisdom teeth, ,when I was coming along they weren't"t giving out wisdom teeth, and that's the Truth

That is very normal. Sometimes, there are fragments left behind, and they will work themselves out. If it is causing discomfort, and you are unable to dislodge the fragments, you can go back to the dentist\oral surgeon who did the work, and have them pull the fragments out.
