I want to get the final deal on hydration. I know that water is the best method of hydration and that alcohol is useless. I want to know what other fluids are ample for hydrating the body if drunk in enough volume. My dietitian said that non-cotrous fruit juices can help and that soft drink DOES help, although its hydration rate is only about 25% that of fresh water. She also said that milk is a good source of hydration, though nothing can replace water. If anyone can confirm or deny these or perhaps give an even more detailed view, that would be cool. I know that nothing replaces water, so don't bother saying that. I am merely looking at other things to have WITH water.
