My son has a light skoleosis which sometimes causes him back pain, but basically he is fine and you can barely see it. Now he is trying to join the army and we wonder if they will take him.

I have recently sprained my ankle for the 5th time in the last 12 years. I have always had weak ankles and they have rolled easily. This last time was just playing soccer and I jumped up and when I landed it rolled, nothing was under my foot, it just gave out. I went to the doctor right after and he said it was a high ankle sprain, but he could see all the previous chips in my bones from previous injuries. He also stated one of these is quite large behind my achilies tendon. It has now been a week and the brusing I have gotten is amazing. I have never had so much brusing, and it is mainly above the round thing on my ankle, about 3 inches above it, and below it along the base of my foot. All the times previous this I never got any sort of bruising. Should I be worried about this? The talk of surgeroy has also been mentioned: 1 to remove the large chip from one of the previous injuries, 2 to tighten my tendons to prevent future injuries. Please advise on what u think of this.

i think im nocturnal..cuz i only sleep for 4 hours erryday and i cant sleep durin night...i feel more energized then..its always caused problems in school and at home...whut the hell is wrong witt me? i mean it doesent bother me..but it culd affect my carrer and my life sumhow...is there a way to adjust my sleepin? well actually i feel more comfortable at night...i ounno i need sum answers...no better yet..is ther anyone else out there like me?

i am a cutter but i dont cut my wrists i cut my fat on my buttocks! i like it because it is a nice smoothe cut as aoppose to a hard painful cut. it feels like im cutting through jello. well when i went in my friends pool last night i bgan to bleedd from the cuts i made but she thought i had my period and she told me it was so gross she never wanted to talk to me again. how can i stop the bleeding?

It seems that unless people can see a "broken arm", a "bleeding wound", a "cancer diagnosis", "asthma" , "arthiritis" (and many more lables out there) a mental condition is less inmportant as the above. There are so many people that do not understand that it is real...it is a struggle everyday to just get to the end of the day. You are ridiculed for you behavior as irresponsible or inconsiderate. You get the picture. IT IS AS REAL AS CANCER OR AIDS OR ANY OTHER UNCUREABLE ILLNESS!!

My sister is having swelling and pain on the back side of her neck, but only on one side of it (the left, I think). It's not a sprain, or anything, although it's in the same area that you normally experience muscle-related neck pain - it seems to be some sort of infection, because the worse it hurts, the more ill she has been feeling: really tired, and allergy/cold symptoms. And at one point when the swelling got bad, the tonsil on that same side of her neck also swelled (but not the other one). I'm very worried about her, and wondered if anyone had any good idea as to what these symptoms could be? I can't find anything specific in an online search. TIA!

I went for a blood test the other day. The nurse was trying to find my vein at the joint of my left arm (using a syringe). I dont really know what she did as i wasnt looking (maybe that was a bad idea), but i suddenly felt what can be described as "pin and needles" across my left arm. She asked me if i was in pain, then proceed to draw blood from my right arm instead. Initially there wasnt a problem, but after 2 days whenever I move my left arm it feels like blood is being forced through my vein. Also my left arm is "colder" than my right arm!?!?? Is this due to blood being blocked from my arm?? Or did she injected me with some air bubbles instead???
