OH MY GOODNESS!
My eyes do the same thing. Everyone has always thought I was crazy. I can usually see them the best when I look at the sky, or a white wall, l or the background of the computer screen or something. I can always see them but I see them best when I look at those things. I think that it is dust or something getting on our eyes. Im so glad to hear that someone else has this too!

The only time I saw "the things" was when my blood pressure was up too high. They are not germs, but I know what you mean about the shape like amebas (sp)
Be careful about your intake of supplements because certain ones can cause your blood pressure to skyrocket. Like muscle enhancing substances or energy capsules and such...just be careful - don't want to put too much strain on your heart.
If you don't take anything like that then go to an optometrist for an eye exam.

Lots of people with poor vision see them (including me). When I start seeing them I know it is time to get new glasses. It is a signal that your sight is imperfect. I think just about everybody sees them. They aren't really germs or anything. They are just illusions created by the eye itself.

No you're not crazy. I know the things you mean, I get them too now and then. Someone told me they are 'floaters'. It is something on the surface of your eye but I don't think it's harmful. My guess is you will see one every now and then and then find yourself trying to see it again and can't! If it does concern you please get an eye check or see your doctor.

They aren't germs they are called floaters. Basically the fluid inside your eye may have thicker bits in it and thats what you see.

Somepeople have more than others and some medicine or vitamins can sometimes help.

They're called, "floaters," and they're perfectly normal, so no worries. :o) Yes, they're on the surface of your eye; they're tiny clumps of the gel stuff that coats your eye. Actually, what you're seeing is not the actual floaters, but the shadows that the floaters cast on your retina. HTH! :o)

I know what you're talking about. I see them too.
I don't think it's any kind of real problem.
I'm going to the optometrist today, coincidentally. I'll ask him
