Drink when you're thirsty. There's a lot of mythology and folklore around "you should drink 8 glasses a day", but it's never been substantiated. Just an urban myth.

Drinking water helps you lose weight in a couple of different ways. First, when you feel hungry, more often than not, you are thirsty. So, by drinking water, it will fill you up so you won't eat as much. Also, it helps food and sugar flow through your system faster. And it is very good for you skin. You should at least get 8-10 glasses of water a day. The best way to achieve this is to drink water rather than pop or other sugar beverages. Eliminating those things from your diet will also help you lose weight. If you walk for about a half hour a day, you will be able to see the difference too. After you have walked for a couple of days, work up to jogging. That way you don't over do it all at once.

Lots of water (say 10-12 glasses) alone cannot help you loose weight, it is good though, as it helps flush out your toxins. The most sensible way to loose weight is by eating right and exercising daily. Cut out fat and carbs from your diet, eat foods like whole grain bread and/or oats (at breakfast), fruits and vegetables. Make sure you have had you last meal of the day by 7 PM.

Do atleast 1 hour of cardio exercise everyday, like taking brisk walks or swimming. You could combine that with running or cycling, whatever suits you best. This regime should be followed till you achieve your target weight, after that you could cut down your routine to maybe 3-4 times a week. Remember maintaining the weight is more diffcult than loosing.

Sipping jasmine green tea with your meals, suppossedly helps one to slim down. Drinking hot water instead of room temperature or cold water can help curb your appeptite.

Yes, it does.

To keep healthy, you should drink at least 2-3 litres of plain water per day (depending on your weight and body structure).

In order to lose weight, you should double that amount, and the more you drink above that, the faster weight will be lost.

But be careful and monitor your progress. And during a water therapy you should also be close to an easily accessable toilet.

It is very important to drink lots of water - at least two litres a day - to replenish the water in your body. The organs require water to work properly. If you do not drink sufficient water each day, the organs will start to take the water, necessary to work, from other parts of the body. The first place water is taken from is the bowel or intestines....when this happens, you become constipated and the "stuff" in your intestines is reabsorbed by your body. This will lead to fat build up! So keep drinking water and do some exercise...walking is the best...but also yoga and swimming.
Good luck!

drinking water is extremely healthy. it boosts your metabolism so ur body works faster to burn calories n process food n blah blah...it keeps u hydrated as well so when u run ur sweat cools u off. no water=no sweat=dehydrated=pass out=bad. im not exactly sure how much youre supposed to drink. ive heard about 12 glasses a day but if ur a serious sweater or really active u should drink more. if ur pissing every 5 minutes ur drinking too much. u should run at least 20-30 minutes...u could run more but i personally dont recommend it because it will wear ur knees out like mine...especially if ur running on asphalt or concrete. good luck homie hope it works.

8 glasses...you should try to exercise a minimum of three times a week for 30-45 minutes. This could be walking, jogging or running - it doesn't matter. The people I know who do this 7 days a week look fantastic! Good luck!

water makes you feel full without taking in any calories. So you aren't as hungry. Drinking lots of liquid is also very healthy for your body. But you cant drink just water, you should just drink more.
