First accept that you will have to live with the disease for the rest of your life. Be positive about the disease. Don't spend your time thinking about the disease, keep your mind focused on things that keep your life going and most of all put everything in the hands of the One Above - God. Do things that you like most and avoid things that put you down. Associate with people that will support you and understand your situation, if you can join a support group. Try it, it works.

I don't think that there is an easy answer to that question. My husband was looking at that possibility a few weeks ago. I think that I would have to look for alternative treatments for the disease.
I guess the most important question I would have to ask is if it is a fatal or crippling disease? All you can really do is to go through each day and hope that it gets easier to handle as time goes on.
Good Luck

Remember that most people have some diseases. From caries to handicap... It is better to think about ways you may cope with your diseases for it would not rule you. Surely some medication exists to diminish bad symptoms. You may adjust your time schedule and work place to a new reality. And to inform your family for they do not rise you inappropriate requirements and for they seek information themselves how to deal with their situation properly.

You can cope with it by letting out all the access stress and things that weigh you or your situation down and turn to God for his help and strength because greater is he that is in him than the sickness and he that is in the world.

I would suggest leaning on your friends and family for support. Live every day to the fullest. Follow your doctor's advice, unless they are idiots. Try to to dwell on it. Make peace with yourself and anyone you may be pissed off at. I also suggest surrendering yourself to a higher power.

Support groups, family, literature on the subject. My true suggestion would be to make sure that you live life, and not have your life lived for you!

If it were me, I pray to God for the strength to do whatever He has planned for me. I have faith in my God, that he will help me get through whatever ordeal I encounter in life.
