I found out that I eat non-stop when I feel nervous, sad, scared, lazy and bored. Any ideas on how to kick this habit?

BUILD A STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM!

Talk to your close friends about this and ask them to be there for you when you start to feel this way and then CALL THEM when you start having these feelings. Tell them you need some company and then go DO something that doesn't involve food.

Join online support groups.

Look into joining your local Overeater Anonymous (OA) and attend a meeting.

Drink at least 8 oz. of water and wait 15 minutes.

Make a list of things you can (or should) do instead of eat. Keep the list with you and when you feel an "attack" coming on...pick something and just do it.

Explore some new hobbies.

Make new friends...in person or online.

Try something new, different, wierd, crazy.

Yes. Get a grip on yourself and order yourself to change your habits. It's all in the mind, and if you really want it, you can lose weight quite easily. Stop eating large amounts, stop eating bad food, pre-prepared food, fast food and processed food. Do not eat any sugar and reduce the intake of fat. No bread and no pasta, but plenty of brown rice, vegetables and fresh fruit. Drink only water and tea and exercise regularly.
By doing this I lost 25 kg in two months and feel a lot better since.

Try not to stay near your food. Put your food away (in the kitchen or inside a drawer) and go somewhere else. If you are nervous, etc... why don't you go to your room and try to rest or get some sleep or do something that makes you really happy. If it doesn't help, you could have an eating disorder, and you may want to contact a professional to help you. Seeing your doctor is a start.

Don't keep snacks around, only keep around things that have to be cooked. You can also talk with your dr. to get medication for those nervous/sad/scared feelings. Those are anxiety-related problems, and that would help tremendously.
