Anyone know how i could make a fire hot enough and safe enough? by the way, i have no acces to a blowtorch.

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to make wooden people? Either with just wooden heads or complete wooden bodies. I am having trouble finding rouded small piece of wood that are head like.

Here is an example of what I mean although I'm hoping to do something simpler, without hats etc.

Thanks

I have had a request for a fun gift of a "bull" scarf. Have made a similar one of a cow (black spots on white scarf, with pink udders on each end.) Anyone have any ideas??

I need some ideas for simple, cheap craft, science and games for teens. We are putting on a community family games night and I would like to be sure that any teens who come are engaged and have a great time. The empasis is on literacy, but we will consider other themes as long as it is fun. Messy is fine. Any help is appreciated.

I bought some fleece fabric to make a throw, I need to hem the edges and would llike to just use the seam binding tape that you iron in instead of sewing the seam in the edges. I want to know if you can iron fleece, will this work or do I have to sew it?

I'm looking to find a new hobby. Something really interesting. Something that may even require lots of practice, or none at all. I just want to start something new.

Tell me, what do you like to do?

I aquired this nickle, its supposably uncirculated. But the interesting thing is, its a triple clip? I talked to a few local guys, and all I can find out is its a MAJOR error, because it means that 2 machines messed up on the same coin, and it passed 2 inspections unnoticed.

I am hoping to get a more detailed explaination on how this happens other then " Oops..Oops again."

I know I will be listed as the most bizarre woman on the face of the planet-- I'm on a mission-- my husband, sister and I are all morticians/funeral directors/undertakers (your choice), and for a gift idea I was thinking of doing a mortuary/funeral procession/hearse/etc. cross stitch for the new home we moved into....has anyone ever seen such a thing, or have any ideas? I do own that cross stitch program that can take a picture and convert it into a chart, but haven't had any luck with that-- and having a kit would work so much better....HELP!!!Brandee

This set was bought by my girlfriend's great grndmthr, guessing it is approximately 100 yrs old, & has a pattern that resembles hand tied bows with a garland of flowers descendeng from it, these are linked to central
design by a chain of pink flowers. This central motif has opened fan in the center, with some pink flowers above it. This pattern around the tea cups twice. There's also a rim pattern on the cups that is gold & black, with 7 full diamond shaped figures, half pink & white between black/pink squares, with a half of this shape at each square, that repeat around the rim 14-15 times. Age? History? Monetary worth?
