Also, cheerleader patterns can be had very cheaply at your local fabric store. Then you will have all the details, pattern, fabric yardage and instructions.

You could buy a pattern for around £4.00. If not check out www.sewessential.co.uk

You can see what the pattern looks like and probably copy it using squared paper.

Start with a basic A line to the hips, then add first layer at double the hemline, next layer one and a half, and third layer doubled again. Does that make sense??
