I want to start a miniature dollhouse collection, but I am unsure of whether to start with a 1" scale or 1/2" scale. Does anyone know which are better? Money is not an issue. Also, are there any websites out there with tips for painting and assembling the houses? (I want to do everything myself- not interested in a pre-assembled house.)

I have one in my possession. It's quality is maybe somewhere between mint and average, no scratches or rusting. I contacted an appraiser in Cali. but the scumbag told me it's only worth maybe 3 dollars and unless I ship it to him, he won't be able to make an accurate asessment. Does anybody know the real worth?

how do you make pjs pants? I left the instructions in my class and i need this to be done by monday. so im at the waist line where i have to fold it and sew it in different directions so i an fit the waist band in it. which way do you fold it and by how much? and whata re the steps after i do that??

any one know how to make pjs pants?
I forgot the steps after sewing th epockets on. I'm on the waist line but i don't know which way to fold it and how much i fold it. I have the ugly sides of my pattern facing out. i think i fold the waist part 1/4 inch towards me. is that right? then i fold it again but i don't know how much. i don't remember the rest of the steps either.

help?

im painting figurines but finding normal globes are often yellow'ish and distorting. i think im painting a certain red shade but in realitity im painting a variation of the shade. its very annoying.

any recommendations? i think i need to find a better globe/lamp/something?
