I want to start a miniature dollhouse collection, but I am unsure of whether to start with a 1" scale or 1/2" scale. Does anyone know which are better? Money is not an issue. Also, are there any websites out there with tips for painting and assembling the houses? (I want to do everything myself- not interested in a pre-assembled house.)

What ever is said on this page is read over by the community that guides. Somethings are brought to their attention b4 something takes place in what is said on line, but for the most part. They say just about every thing they feel.

If you're going to making a lot of your own little items you might want to check out:

and he also has a general dollhouse section.
