How do you be neat?

Do you mean while crafting? Sometimes you can't.
One good way is to put everything out of the way except what you are using right that moment. Never lose sight of your work - if you are left handed, keep your work to the right of your dominant hand; if you are right handed, keep your work to the left of your dominant hand.
Take your time. Don't rush.

Go through your items and seperate them into catagories. What you want to keep, to give away, or throw away. So all you have now is what you want to keep. Seperate them into catagories i.e clothes. Summer wear or winter wear. You might want to store some of them or put things into plastic boxes so you can see into it and label the boxes. Does this help?
