I shop at the Arnold MO WM, it would be a shame if they would close. Why close all the fabric departments in smaller communities, where the people have a long way to go to get their fabrics, notions, and craft items. I believe that Wal-mart has not done its homework...This department is very important in many communities, especially Arnold MO, the department is always busy. I know WM will lose customers when this dept is closed. If the reason is that it is not making money, then rethink the products that you buy, many items that have been in my craft department are items that are not selling...junky items that customers are not interested in. Fabrics are important, ones that can be used in quilting, home fashions, clothing, but not high end decorator or poor quality fabrics. I do not want to see my WM close its F&C dept. Please leave it open

Do you start it with rubber bands or with something else? I bought a bunch of rubber bands today and I have nothing to do with them except for shooting them. Which can have consequences.

When I was little, my father had a cousin who made beautiful chairs out of coke cans. The outside bottom of the can was padded on the part of the chair one would sit on. The covering was any type of pretty material. The back and legs would be scrolled/filagreed. I would love to know how to make one. Thank you so much!!

I have two large pieces of material that I am going to use to cover a table in. The edges are fraying and the ideal thing would be a hem but I can't sew and it would also take ages. I have till Wednesday to do it.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

ITS KINDA SHAPPED LIKE A ICE CHEST BUT BIGGER. I THOUGHT IT WAS AN ICE MACHINE BUT I DONT BELIEVE THOSE HAVE A COOLING SYSTEM AND THIS ONE DOES, I THINK. IT HAS TWO "LIDS", ONE FOR THE COKE BOTTLES, WHICH IS SORTA LIKE A TUB THAT WOULD ALSO HOLD ICE. THE SECOND LID HAS SOME KIND OF MOTOR AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE A COOLING SYSTEM, THIS OPENING ALSO GOES UNDERNIETH THE FIRST TUB AS IF MAYBE ICE WOULD GO THERE AS WELL, THUS COOLING THE FIRST TUB WITH THE BOTTLES IN IT. THE COST OF A SODA WAS 5 CENTS.

I'm into beading. I wanted to know what is the best way to make holes in beautiful stones and shells that I found so that I can make them into pendants for necklaces? Some of the shells might break, also so how do I make the holes without the shells breaking or losing any of the strength they have?
