I once played laser tag with a group of friends and we had a great time. I guess the more updated game would be paintball.

You could go sing Karaoke if you are old enough to get into a bar or know somewhere else to do it. It's fun when you have a group of friends that are all sitting together cheering (or even booing) you on.

Bowling is also fun. I used to go with a bunch of friends. We would get two or three lanes and compete against each other.

For a great time out try skating, eating out, watching a loud movie or war games (Nothing puts a smile on your face like darting your best bud with a paint ball bullet).
Fun fairs can be great esp. if there are couples in your group.

For indoors you could try a craft like beading if its girls only. Mixed group can play twister, Truth or Dare or Scrabble for the more sedate crowd.

Dressing up in your moms clothes, running naked together through town, getting drunk on mouthwash and attempting to eat a few galleons of Ice Cream with a fork, is for the wierder groups.

Geocaching! All around you, people have hidden stuff for you to find. Some of them are big Tupperware containers full of trade items. Others are tiny little containers with only enough room for a slip of paper to sign your name. You do need a handheld GPS unit to find them, they run anywhere from $80.00 on up. Geocaches can be in the woods where you have to hike, or right downtown.
