The plan is two pour the plaster into a square mold, let it set up a little, then press Boo's, Tako's, Mr. Chip's, Pooter's, Garfield's, and Bob-o's paw *or paws* into it to make a print. Then I'd write their names and estimated birthdays above or below the print, and leave it at that. Possibly paint the name.

Is that viable? I've never really messed with plaster. My immediate thought was cement, but these are small prints and I want detail, and I don't think cement comes in such a fine grain. Clay could work, but only if I could get someone to fire it for me. Bone dry just doesn't do well if something happens.

Would a ceramics store that does do classes fire it for me if I asked real nice and payed them? Then I could glaze, fire again, and have pretty tiles as memoirs.

Input?

What type of material would make a mask feel/look somewhat like bone? The type of mask would be more like a halloween or cosplay mask.

The scrap bag is held on the sewing table top with a pin type cushion(?). I have also seen a rectangle filled with rice. The bag opening is held open by something(?) to allow you to drop threads and/or tiny scraps instead of a regular trash can. Have you seen anything like this?

What kinds of things can you stick inside gel candles? I want to make a chile pepper gel candle and was thinking maybe making it out of playdough and letting it harden and sticking it in there, but I don't know if that'd be flammable? Basically, does anyone have any interesting ideas on making a chile pepper gel candle?

i recently compleated a cross stitching project. It was my first large one (11x18) and all I had to use was hoops. In the process of doing my stitches the aida stretched and now my design looks crooked. Is there any way I can get the fabric to go back into shape?

I am doing a project for my humanities class, and want to make the letter I must write looked aged. If I was to do this with coffee or tea, how much would I use? and how do you dry the paper? If anyone has experience with this, your advise would be helpful.

For my preserved wedding bouquet, and my husband's wedding corsage, I would like to put them in a shadowbox. I'm not really an artsy/crafty person, but I'm trying to think where to buy one or order one from, that is reasonably priced... It would have to be a large one... Also, trying to think how to mount it in there?... Any thoughts? :)

for my wedding thank you notes I want to buy from Michael's craft store a wax seal stamper and some of those wax sticks.
I want to use this instead of stickers to add decoration to the back of the thank u notes.
I just wonder if they peel off the envelopes in the process of being handled by mail carriers? I want to use the real wax ones in gold or pearl, NOT the glue sticks or ready-made seals.
Any opinions or advice on these wax seals? thanks!~
