for my wedding thank you notes I want to buy from Michael's craft store a wax seal stamper and some of those wax sticks.
I want to use this instead of stickers to add decoration to the back of the thank u notes.
I just wonder if they peel off the envelopes in the process of being handled by mail carriers? I want to use the real wax ones in gold or pearl, NOT the glue sticks or ready-made seals.
Any opinions or advice on these wax seals? thanks!~

The wax doesn't peel off, but the seal can crack as it goes through the mail processing machinery. You can always drop off the finished envelopes at the post office and tell them to hand-cancel them.

The letters go through machinery in the process of being delivered; anything sticking out will jam in the machine and likely damage the envelope. That sounds like a good idea, I recommend doing it and putting the wax sealed envelopes in a regular envelope for mailing.
