Ah, but you do have fabric, use an old article of clothing to make something. You can turn an old pair of jeans into a purse, or you can make a scarf out of an old blouse, etc...

Ok, here's how you make paste. You take some flour and add some water, and it turns into paste. Now you tear up a lot of paper (newspaper, colored paper, etc.) and soak it in the paste. Turn a bowl over, and put a piece of saran wrap over it. Now take the paper mixture and form it over the bowl. When it dries, you now have a nice new bowl.

I have so many ideas for you, it could take a whole page.

You can put the paper mix into some plastic lids and have coasters when it dries.

Take some jewelry you don't want anymore and drop it into a clear glass. Now add some flowers you can make with paper and tape.

Cut off the top of a milk carton and clean it out. Take the Sunday comics and wrap it around to make a planter. Now go dig up a plant from your own yard and put it in there.

Take some sticks and branches from your yard and wrap them with the Sunday comics and glue them into the shape of a photo frame, then glue a photo behind it.

Print out a ball pattern from the computer and glue it into a ball.

Find some origami instructions on the internet and fold paper to your heart's content.

Make a box out of some wrapping paper.

There are instructions for all these things on the internet. Just type in crafts for children.

Take several strips of colored paper and weave them in and out of each other to make a placemat or coaster.

Take strips of colored paper and tape them into a garland by making circles with the like a chain.

Tear up an old t-shirt into strips and braid them into long strips, then sew the strips together to make a place mat, coaster, or basket.

Whew, my fingers hurt. I am stopping here, not because I have run out of ideas, but because I have other questions to answer.

Make a poster collage! Get some magazines together (some libraries give them out for free) and cut out inspirational images or things that would look cool overlapping eachother. Lay them out on the poster board and started taping!! (I use packing tape). I have a "Kiss" collage that I made by cutting out all the lips I found in a magazine and so its a whole posterboard FILLED with lips. I have a "bling-bling" collage that I made by cutting out diamonds, gold and silver watches and necklaces and whatever else "bling" I found in my magazines. This one looks awesome on my wall. I also have a "Run" collage that I made by cutting out all the pictures and inspirational quotes that I found in all of my Runner's World magazines. Collaging is really fun and I hope this helps!

How about if you cut shapes from paper and use the sewing kit to sew the shapes onto bigger pieces of papers, for stationery or greeting cards.
