Have loads mint stamps and was just wondering what to do with them, hence can they be used legally here.

If they have the queens head on them, then I would say yes......

Sorry no. Channel Island post offices became independent from the UK back in the 60's if I recall correctly. The Queen's head is on them because we are a Crown Dependency.

Channel Island stamps are very collectable and a few issues are worth more than face value so it might be worth checking them out with a dealer or you could try Peter Wilson of The Guernsey Stamp Co. Tel.01481 721314. He buys lots of each issue in the hope that they will become a collectors item but this happens rarely so he then sells them to local businesses at a discount.
