My son has to make a pinata for Spanish class and we need easy directions and some patterns to follow that aren't to elaborate. He's in the 8th grade and all I'm finding are designs for toddlers and sites where you can order pre-made pinatas.

Would you go for a guitar lesson or strive to learn by yourself? I'm afraid it's a waste of $ as most people I know learned by themselves, I don't think I'm able to do that. I know the basic strumming though.

I have never stamped before and don't quite know how to begin. If I use embossing powder on a stamp, do I need a specific type of ink? I noticed that there are several types and I don't know if I need dye based vs. pigment based, etc. Also, is it as easy as sprinkling the powder on the wet ink and using a heating tool??

I picked up an ancient coin at an antique store a while back. The only info I could find on it was that it's Byzantine and depicts Emperor Basil. I've searched several ancient coin sites and have seen several "similar" coins but not the exact one. Does anybody know of a database somewhere that I might find it and get some general info, possibly its value?

I found the perfect costume!!!
I will go out as a bunch of grapes. But How would you attach purple balloons to your body..I guess I will go as far as my belly because it would feel awkward having them attached to my legs.

would that look weird?
is this a good idea?
how would I attach the purple ballons though?

I'm looking for any help with a coin my mother-in-law found in a 1940s player piano. It says sterling silver on the coin. It has a pigs head on one side and a pigs butt on the other. No date. A coin dealer offered her fifty for the coin but didn't know what it was. So I think he had never seen something like it and thought it could be worth alot more. She is not looking to sell it, just wants more info.
Any web sites would be greatly apreaciated. Thanks
