I want to take potrait pictures but don't know where photographers by those screen backgrounds (blue or gray etc). I have been using solid colored fabric, but I think it would look better with one of those screens. Where can I get one?

I found some loose gemstones in a box while serching for something else in a dresser drawer that belonged to my father.He passed away 30 years ago .I would like to sell these stones but the online auctions want you to practicly give your stuff away. I would like to know where to find buyers for these with out having to practicaly give them away. I have had them checked out buy a jewler and they are real natural gemstones

I am in need of having a pair of pants made. They need to be nice and form fitting and boot cut. (they are for showing horses)
I am having someone make them for me, however, she needs me to get measured by a seamstress before I send her the fabric.

I was hoping I could do this myself, I just need to know what measurements I need to get and how to properly obtain them.

You know how you see emdroidery on blankets, done by machine? Well, I want to do it by hand. I think it is possible. What would be best to trace my design on the fabric? Transfer paper? Also, is there fabric that I should not embroider on? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Over the past 6 years I've been doing street magic(going around to people showing tricks). This has always been a hobby of mine(also helps me get girls). All my tricks are amazing but I want to do some devistating tricks that will freak the audience out that will make them think I had sold my soul to the devil or something like that. I have a new (3 weeks old) Singer 140 Q. I was sewing for about an hour (stiches were fine, no puckering or any other problems) and all of the sudden the machine jammed. I checked the bobin, there were no tangles, the needle was fine, but I changed it anyway, just to be safe. Finally, I took the bobin shuttle, shuttle keeper and shuttle race cover off to see if there was some thread in there. There wasn't but the whole shuttle assembly popped out. I've been fooling with this all day. Singer's web site doesn't have much for trouble shooting and the singer shop is already closed tonight.
Anyone have any ideas?

Ideas for a girl's quiet book???
I am making a quiet book for my niece for Christmas and am trying to come up with a few more ideas. I want this to be pretty and girly. She will be 8 months when Christmas rolls around, so I don't want anything too much for her. Any suggestions would be great.

A quiet book is a fabric book with different cloth pages. Each page has something different to button, zip, snap, velcro and felt items, etc. An example of a page in a quiet book would be an ocean page with different fish to velcro to the page so the baby can pull it off and put it back on in a different spot.
