take the bobbin out a make sure it is inserted correctly. the needle should not hit the bobbin case.

put the bobbin into the case with the thread going in a clock-wise direction. There is usually a slit in the bobbin case for the thread to be pulled through. Put the thread over your hand while you move the bobbin case into the machine, making sure it fits in and doesn't fall back out, if it does you haven't fitted it in properly. When it is in properly then you can hold the needle thread while turning the wheel and it will catch the lower bobbin thread and bring it up.

The above answer is correct, the needle should not be hitting the bobbin case. You might need to totally take out the bobbin case and start all over again. Also be sure your needle isn't bent.

I would suggest that you read your owners manual for your sewing machine, and check out the directions for threading the bobbin. I've encountered this before, only to discover that I threaded the bobbin wrong, or had a bent needle.

you have put the bobbin case back in the machine crooked. i am assuming you have the load in the side/front type. it is just in wrong. take it out, and look at the little "arm" on the bobbin holder, then look inside the machine, where the bobbin holder goes, and you will see a place for that little arm to go..just seat it proper, and it will be fine.
