If you read a lot, you must be using a flatbed scanner for text scanning. If you already have an OCR program installed on your computer, you do not have to buy a higher-priced model with an OCR program.

Most digital cameras now come with a preset position for taking Text. The most important factor is the resolution. You must buy a 6 megapixal resolution camera which is good enough for converting the image to text on the computer
