This is my mom's only remaining childhood item. It is very important that someone highly qualified performs the restoration work. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

This is the only childhood item my mom has. I've had a couple of replies about restoration depleting the value of the doll, however, that is not an issue. The doll is in such dispair that it virtually has no value other than extreme sentimental value. I want the best possible job to be done and it would be greatly appreciated if anybody out there has a doll hospital they would recommend. Thanks much for any suggestions!!

Just remember once you restore it;it will lose whatever antique vaule it has;but i don't know if you are into antiques.

There are alot of doll magazines out there. They usually have ads in there from "doll doctors."

There are quite a few doll hospitals in Ohio, just be sure to ask to see a few before and after photos of their work before agreeing to anything.
