Today, there are some countries third world or otherwise, that still rarely get to enjoy gum, chocolate, and other candies. You often see this portrayed in war footage when the troops offer herseys bars and such. But as far as lets say early European History, or any other time when candy was still 100% made by hand...was it considered a luxury item? Was sugar always more abundant, easier to get, and affordable by all?

I took frozen chicken out of the freezer to get something from the back. Two hours later I looked in the garage and chicken was setting out thawed. If I refreeze it and cook it right is it dangerous?

I have a theory that if we can inhibit the absorption of sugar (absorbed by fascilitated diffusion), fats, and/or proteins in the small intestine, we could control people's weights. The stomach would still get its ~15%, while the small intestine would get considerably less than its normal rate.

I thought of this while in physiology class. But it is true, we all like to eat. America could get in shape, eat great (not necessarily heathfully), and people would get rich! Sure, some like to argue that some people in the world are starving. But if we can get it, why not!? It will be produced!! We could eat a half pint of ice cream after eating a nice steak. To wash it down would be some delicious, very full-bodied beer. People would not even have to go crazy, just eat what they like to now..double portions and all. I hate eating 200-250 calories four to five times per day just to maintain a weight of 130 pounds! I can't even think about a decent serving of ice cream or chocol

O.k., If I have a Gallon of Concentrated Syrup which is equivalent to 128 ounces, & the ratio is 1:7.

For every ounce of syrup, is equivalent to an 8 oz. of energy soda. So if I had a 12 oz. serving size, how many gallons of syrup & liquid will I need to have an even serving for the 12 oz.? Does that make sense? I'm confused myself.

I have this syrup, & only have a serving size of 12 oz. so my question is, how many cups will I need to make use of all the syrup & liquid needed where I don't have to waste any in between ounces of syrup? Help...

On Store brands on food labels they do not read of where the product is made only where it is distributed from, is this food made outside of the USA.
