Beef has a darker color than pork because it is considered a "red meat" while pork is sometimes considered a "white meat" like chicken.
When pork is cooked thoroughly, it should have a light brown color on the inside.

Generally speaking, pork is the white meat and is a lighter color. Also, the texture is a bit different. Most beef is a little stringer when it breaks apart. Pork tends to be more solid. Braised or boiled, as well as in soups, it is very difficult to tell the two meats apart.

Pork is a paler meat that is usually more tender than beef if they're both cooked steak-style. Pork also has a flaky texture to it. Beef will usually be a dark brown.

Pork is usually grainier. Even when shredded, as in BBQ, when bitten or mashed with a fork, the strands of pork are usually larger in diameter while beef is finer/smoother. If you pick up smaller flat pieces (like steak and chops) and bend them usually the pork will break while the beef will bend.

when raw beef is red and pork is pink then when cooked they change to the above colors, hence pork is called "the other white meat"

Pork is a white meat, with a sweeter flavor, and generally more fat than beef.
Beef is a red meat.
In the form of sausage, they are indistinguishable except by taste.

Pork is fatter and you may see a hint of pink while beef is brownish and thinner. Why do you ask?
