QUICK, Help Me With Ounces...?

O.k., If I have a Gallon of Concentrated Syrup which is equivalent to 128 ounces, & the ratio is 1:7.

For every ounce of syrup, is equivalent to an 8 oz. of energy soda. So if I had a 12 oz. serving size, how many gallons of syrup & liquid will I need to have an even serving for the 12 oz.? Does that make sense? I'm confused myself.

I have this syrup, & only have a serving size of 12 oz. so my question is, how many cups will I need to make use of all the syrup & liquid needed where I don't have to waste any in between ounces of syrup? Help...

If one ounce of syrup makes 1 8oz size drink then you need to increase the syrup to 1 and 1/2 ounces to make it the 12 ounce size....how many drinks do you need to serve? You need to know this in order to figure how much syrup you need to buy and also how much other liquid you need....it's all in the math...
Plus getting back to the ratio...1:7 does that mean 1 gallon of syrup mixed with 7 gallons of liquid...gives you the finished product? add the 7 gallons and 1 gallon gives you 8 gallons then say 8 gallons times x 128 ounces to get the final amount you have mixed together...then divide it by 12 ounces for each drink...then you get the number of drinks you will get from this mixture....8 times 128 equals 1024....then divide the 12 into it you get....85.33333 or 85 drinks with a little bit leftover.

There are 16 ounces in a pound, and .25 is 1/4, so you have 1/4 of 16 ounces which is 4 ounces

For 12 ounces of syrup you would need 84 ounces of liquid if I am reading the question correctly.It confused me as well!
