Strangest thing we have ever eaten has to be cat. We lived in Newcastle SA for a while. A Chap used to sell Samoosa's every Saturday and people went crazy for them. Yummy meat, crispy as anything. Then opened the newspaper one day and who's photo should be in it. The same charactor we bought samoosa's from. He would get cats from RSPCA skin them and curry them. Must say it did not taste too bad but felt quite sick.

I've just tried one of the new Orangey Chocolate Oranges and they are the best thing ever. Have you discovered a new chocolate recently, and if so, what is it?

These were bags of flour-based (bread) crackers with Italian herbs; amazingly yummy. Now, no one at Sam's remembers them. :( I would pay to have them shipped from Europe, they're so good!

Has there been any substantive research and results on the subject of microwaves (we've all heard the radiation theory, which everyone likes to shove under the rug). Even if not actually dangerous, does the microwave heating process (friction apparently) damage nutrient content of the food?
