anyone know where I can obtain good quality hamster mince? will I have to go to the pet shop and buy a dozen of them and mince them alive? or will my butcher be able to provide them?

that is disgustingly funny!! i would do it at home, saves the embarassment of going to the butchers and finding out they only have rats. eww, yumm lol good luck! i would mince them myself? using a food processor? i know my answer is kind of disturbing but ur question is disturbing too!! good luck with sunday lunch

I think you will find that mincing them alive will give you more texture and flavour, try adding a bit of garlic too.

Try the local pet store, a fair number of them cack it before they get sold. You might be better off with chinchilla, dog or cat though - more meat on them.

You are sick. Someone should mince you for dinner.

Personally, I would go for Armadillo, Wath though 'cause they are sfot on the inside but very hard on the outside!

Have you tried Gerbils? They have more white meat and the flavor is a bit less gamy.

There may be a speciality shop in your area. If not it is quite easy to produce yourself.

Try roasted rat with chestnut stuffing, or python stew with black bread.
