Yes it is normal. Most of what we think of as taste is really smell. When your nose is better, your food will taste better.

That is normal alot of times, because one of the greatest influences of taste is your sense of smell, so if you are congested, something can taste different. It is kind of like plugging your nose when tasting something. Also, if you are on any medications to make you feel better, some of them have a side affect of altering your sense of taste.
So, long story short- yeah it is normal- but it could be for many different reasons.

Completely normal. When you've got an infection all your bodily systems malfunction a bit, including your taste glands.

yes, especially if you have a cold. Maybe it's your body telling you not to drink soda, drink orange juice, it's better for you!
