1, The music is great - makes me want to listen to it rather than the voice over.
2. Am sick to death of the mellow, sensual female voice over. It's been on too long and irritates me so much I mute the sound until the end of the ad.
3. The closeups of the food are good, but I have never yet gone out and bought any of the items advertised.
All in all, it's about time M&S changed their ads for somethine new. I think they are stale and are boring.

Absolutely love them. Soothing voice and the way they present their adverts make me want to rush over there and buy the goodies. I have noticed that Sainsbury's are trying to copy them but the lady's voice is just not the same. Santana playing in the background. Strange that you ask this question i have been wanting to ask it for ages just have not got around to it. MMM Good minds think alike i think:)))

The music piece is by Fleetwood Mac, its called "Albatross" and was performed in 1969. The advet though is a it annoying, they just drag out the description of the food, which is really annoying!

Her voice does malicious program me however the advertisements presented an remarkable headline in my interior sight rag in basic terms previously Christmas. In our M&S between the staff had taken photos of uncooked sewage in an unused carry shaft that the administration replaced into taking its time over sorting out. The headline: 'that's no longer in straightforward terms uncooked sewage...that's M&S uncooked sewage.' Makes me laugh each and each time i think of of a complex fowl with a plum in her mouth asserting that!

Well said Adams Girl! they make me want to vomit - this is not just food its M&S food - BOLLOCKS ITS JUST THE SAME AS ANY OTHER CONVENIENCE FOOD. M&S dont even make it, its mostly made by the same company that produces Tesco Finest. All this shite about carefully hand picked by M&S - crap, supermarkets dont make that stuff, the companies who do pay for the packaging which is branded to the supermarkets guidelines. This way the supermarkets make more money and dont have any manufacturing costs.

That voice freaks me out, and my mum always turns the sound off when the ad comes on cos she can't stand it.

I live in the US, so I don't know. My friend visits the UK often and brings me back cool stuff from Marks & Spencers.
