I posted a calorie warning on mince pies earlier and the answers revealed that unless familiar with UK, people don't know about mince pies: small shortcrust pastries with sweet filling made of mostly fruits& raisins; delicious and soooooooooooo addictive! I never knew them before coming to Britain, but I honestly thought it was a shared tradition between UK and US...

I would like to know what your opinion is on one matter. For this reason, I will ask ask you a two questions.
If somebody delivers and later delivers on a regular basis pretty, tasty, ecological apples in a nice packaging and attractive price (1 pound per kilo) will you be interested in buying them? Will this kind of sale with delivery directly to your house suit you?
Please send your answers for my short opinion poll to the e-mail address: olacz@poczta.onet.pl I would be also very grateful to you for sending my poll to your friends.
Thank you so much for your help. Your answers are extremely important for me.

What is one thing that you have never tried, or thought of trying, but you saw it on tv, or heard someone else describe it, and now you want to try it?

Me, personally, I want to try that poison fish they sell in sushi stores, that you have a chance of it killing you if not prepared correctly.
Bugs, crickets, maybe as well.

I was eating a burrito bol from Chipotle, and it had pinto beans in it. I don't like pinto beans, so I said "I don't like pinto beans."

Someone said, "You mean, there is a food out there that you will not eat?"

I went on to say, ignoring that comment, "I don't like any beans really. I don't like pinto beans, lima beans, black beans, etc. But I do like pork & beans." Then, after a second of thinking, I thought, "What kind of beans are in pork & beans?" And so, I posted this question. Why would I like the beans in pork & beans, and not every other kind of beans?

Just a question of curiousity...

I'm making a poll between the products pepsi, and coke. I want to know everyone's opinion, and i want a reasonable explanation on why you chose the answer you chose!, for example my choice is pepsi because it has a better taste to it and it doesn't taste flat like coke. coke has more sugar in there coke product than pepsi does. so...... choose......... Pepsi or Coke?.......... Thanks!

Turkey, like other poultry, MUST be slowly thawed, inside the fridge. It takes several days, so get the turkey now, and keep it in the fridge. Put a pan under it to catch drips.

If it's not thawed by the time you need to cook it, put it in a potful of COLD water to thaw. Or run coldest tap water through it.

Never, ever thaw it at room temp or use warm water to defrost. Way too much chance of foodborne illness.
